The year hasn’t been without its low points and tragedies. However at this time of year and in terms of what I’ll say publicly, I’ll focus on some of the positive highlights over the year:
- Time with my partner: she makes me smile ever single day
- Time with family, and getting closer to my extended family some of whom just feel like family
- Thawing a frozen shoulder
- Starting my fifth decade, with plenty of health and happiness
- Assembling a wooden marble run
- Clearing what was the old garden and making it our garden
- Taking the drone up, and filming the local area
- Enjoying a comedy night, local independent cinema and the even closer nightlife for a few drinks
- Replacing my ancient, 2014 Intel MacBook with an admittedly already outdated M3 Macbook Pro
- Handing down the aforementioned Intel MacBook to my nephew who was absolutely delighted - it is truly better to give than to receive
- Similar to the MacBook, parting with my CD player, amp and speakers with my niece similarly delighted
- Enjoying some brilliant TV in 2024, in Fallout, Black Doves, Silo, to name a few
- All the time we spend together. As I said, you make me smile every day
